Saul scores stunning goal after mesmerising solo run vs Bayern

What a goal this is!
After the snore fest that was yesterdays Champions League semi-final between Manchester City and Real Madrid, Saul Niguez took only 11 minutes to wake us all from our slumber with a moment of individual brilliance for Atletico Madrid against Bayern Munich.
Picking the ball up in the centre circle, Saul advanced towards the Bayern box dancing his way around four opposition players before smoothly curling a shot into the bottom corner.

Cool, calm and collected Anthony Martial strokes home injury time winner for United

Manchester United willing be returning to Wembley after booking their pace in the semi-final of the FA Cup thanks to Anthony Martial’s dramatic late winner vs Everton.
A thrillingly open game looked to be heading for extra time after Chris Smalling’s own goal had cancelled out Fellaini’s opener. But smooth operator Martial had other ideas as he broke through the Everton defence and cooled slotted the ball home before running off to immerse himself in the United crowd.
Watch Martial’s superb winner below.

David De Gea’s typically superb penalty save to deny Lukaku in the Fa Cup

It wasn’t Everton striker Romelu Lukaku’s day against Manchester United as his side slumped to a 2-1 defeat in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday.
Having missed a hat-trick of chances, Lukaku was given a golden opportunity to finally get on the score sheet when he stepped up to take a penalty after Fosu-Mensah was harshly judged to have fouled Barkley in the box after appearing to get a toe on the ball.
However, Manchester United fans needn’t have worried. David De Gea who has been imperious in goal for his side this season, pulled of a stunning save, getting a strong arm to thwart Lukaku’s effort.
Watch De Gea’s quality save below.

It’s raining beach balls as Charlton fans protest club ownership

In case you’ve missed it, Charlton Athletic fans are really pissed off with their absent millionaire owner Roland Duchâtelet.
Under Duchâtelet, the Addicks have seen a host of managers come and go in short succession, including the reappointment of a manager previously given the axe by the Belgian owner.
With the club in disarray, Charlton Athletic fans have staged several protests including a mock funeral last month.
The relegated Championship club, provided a less somber protest today by disrupting their game against Brighton by covering the pitch with hundreds of beach balls – Pepe Reina’s nightmare imagined!
Watch the protest footage below.

Yes, you absolutely do need to watch AC Milan “perform” a pre-match Haka

So, here we are, witnessing AC Milan, one of Europe’s greats, roped into performing the Haka before they kicked off their Serie A clash with Carpi.
And, the most appalling thing about it, is not just the ill-advised appropriation of culture, but that the appropriation was done in the name of advertising. Yes, Milan are willing to trade their dignity to hawk a bit of product. Or, at least, some actors decked out in a Milan strip are willing to do so.
Oh Milan, what have you become?? Well, on the plus side, at least they’ve taken a break from the sexist overtones that normally feature in their ads.
Watch the footage below, and get ready to cringe.
