If you were thinking about joining the masses in collectively announcing that John Terry’s legs have officially ‘gone’ you might want to reconsider.
Speaking during a press conference this morning, John Terry had the press pack in raptures when he delivered a zinger regarding tv pundit Robbie Savage, who had previously criticised the Chelsea captain.
“I’ll take it from the very best. The Rio’s, the Carragher’s, the Neville’s” sniffed Terry. “When players have not had a career, when they’ve played at a really bad level throughout their career and come for people that have achieved what I have achieved in the game. Robbie Savage being one.”
Ouch!
