Speaking after Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, Arsene Wenger felt his side were dealt a big injustice following red cards for both Gabriel and Cazorla while Diego Costa miraculous avoided being penalised for a single foul during his controversial time on the pitch.
Mike Dean had inserted himself into controversy at the end of the first half after missing Diego Costa taking a couple of swipes at Arsenal’s Laurent Koscienly before giving Gabriel a harsh straight ref for treading on Costa.
“Diego Costa should have been sent off” grumbled the Arsenal manager adding “I wouldn’t like to be Mike Dean tonight.”
