Did Cesc Fabregas purposely snub David De Gea and leave him hanging?

No, probably not, but lets all get way too excited and assume the worst.

During Spain’s 2-0 win over Slovakia thanks to goals from Jordi Alba and Andres Iniesta, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas came off as sub for Arsenal man Santi Cazorla just after the hour mark.

As Fabregas made his way to the bench he was greeted with the customary high fives from his teammates including David De Gea. In the footage above, Fabregas appears to ‘miss’ De Gea out. We are not convinced Fabregas purposely ignored him, but what do you think? Is this ripe for conspiracy theorists to get frothing at the mouth, or just an innocuous accident?

It sums up a pretty bad week for De Gea. First he sees his move to Real Madrid collapse because two of the worlds biggest clubs can’t get their act together, and now he’s getting left hanging by his teammates.
