Steven Gerrard retires from International duty after 114 caps

After 114 caps for England, Steven Gerrard has retired from international football. The footballer recently announced that he would be stepping down from international football, giving him more family time and time to enjoy other things. Of course, the footballer is still playing for his club, so he hasn’t retired properly. However, he probably could consider retirement if he wanted to. Due to his healthy income, he would be able to retire young. Of course, for most people, this isn’t an option. One way of finding healthy savings is to consider investing in a robo adviser. By reading this Roboadvisor Test, people could learn all about it for trading. Hopefully, this will help people to retire younger.

The decision doesn’t come as a huge surprise, especially after England’s disappointing World Cup.

His retirement brings a close to England’s supposed “golden generation” and will likely give Gerrard a bit more mileage for his Club, Liverpool.

Above is Gerrard’s interview with the FA dicussing his retirement. Below is his first England goal vs Germany, a true Gerrard screamer.

Chuckling Yaya Toure gets on the phone with Sky Sports News to say he’s staying at City

After the farce over his Birthday cake, and the apparent lack of Bugatti’s lining up his forecourt, Yaya Toure, with a note of playful mischief in his voice has drawn a line under speculation linking him with a move away from Premier League champions Manchester City this season.

In a pretty contrived phone call Q & A with Sky Sports News, Toure confirmed he would be at the Etihad come kick off in August.

Expect some more grumblings of discontent from the Ivorian/his agent, in January or when ever his contract is close to expiring.

Footballers are people too – Luis Suarez gets locked out of his house

0

Banned from any football activities, and unable to even enter the Camp Nou, Luis Suarez getting locked out of his house was the perfect metaphor for the striker’s current predicament.

But surely, this goes to show that footballers are human too. Even the easiest of tasks, like remembering your keys, is something that we all forget to do sometimes. Yes – it happens to everyone, including some of the best football stars in the world. Of course, in this situation, there would’ve been a number of things that Suarez could have done to resolve the situation. He could’ve looked for the nearest locksmith company in his area, similar to flatratelocknkey-atlanta.com, who would’ve been able to change the locks or to rekey his property. He could’ve waited until his partner or family got home. Or, he could’ve tried to find a key, which is the route that he decided to go down in the end.

It is in the best interest of Suarez, as the homeowner, to try and resolve this predicament as soon as possible because it leaves his home vulnerable to burglaries, for example. And with the money he is on, it is very likely that he will have a lot of possessions that fans may like to get their hands on. This won’t be good for the footballer, or his family, if they get broken into whilst at home. So, in order to make sure that this doesn’t happen again, everyone should remember their keys. Including Luis Suarez.

While a key was sourced, Suarez posed for photos with Barcelona fans. To see the footage of Suarez forgetting his keys, skip to about 1:45 on the video above.
