EPLpod: Man City aren’t mucking around in this transfer window

Jesus, Manchester City are once again flexing their financial muscle after snapping up another pacey winger type which must have Raheem Sterling fluffing up his cushion on the City bench. With City’s £28m capture of the Brazilian Gabriel Jesus – expect plenty of biblical puns – they take their spending almost to the £100m mark under their new spendy pants coach Pep Guardiola. The type of spending that has Paul from EPLpod both shaking in his boots and cursing at Arsene Wenger who appears to be muttering something about net spend under his breath.

In the half of Manchester and the other half of EPLpod, Mike took in Manchester United’s game with Everton for Wayne Rooney’s testimonial. The match was streamed live, and, most importantly free on facebook. A case of you get what you pay for perhaps, as the match finished in a 0-0 bore draw.

Listen to the latest episode of EPLpod below and find out which one of you lucky chaps will be joining Mike and Paul on their trip to Adelaide.

  1. 2 juillet 2012I have observed that of all kinds of insurance, health insurance coverage is the most dubious because of the issue between the insurance cover company’s duty to remain adrift and the buyer’s need to have insurance cover. Insurance companies’ revenue on overall health plans are low, consequently some businesses struggle to make money. Thanks for the suggestions you write about through your blog.
