He’s really picked his man out there!
Jordan Pickford proved to be an unlikely source for England U21’s second goal as his team brushed aside Kazakhstan 3-0 yesterday during a Euro Under 21’s qualifier.
After comfortably gobbling up a cross, Pickford then sprayed a sublime pass to Nathan Redmond, as the Norwich winger scampered away on the counter. Redmond then cut inside before calmly slotting into the bottom corner.
Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Arsenal’s Chuba Akpom added England’s other goals. England U21’s currently sit in 3rd place in their group after winning their opening two games, and have a game in hand.
