Oh deary me, poor Bernd Leno. The Leverkusen stopper, who has just gotten his first call up to the German national squad, was taking care of what seemed to be a routine clearance when the unpredictable laws of a bobbly pitch decided to kick in and leave him with football pie on his face.
In what must be every keepers nightmare, Leno sized up the pass back, took an almighty swing at it, only to see, to his horror the ball take a wicked bobble, cheerfully skipping beyond him and into the Leverkusen net.
The howler would prove costly, as despite Karim Bellarabi equalising later on, Leverkusen could only manage a 1-1 draw with Augsburg.
