"A goalkeeper can make a mistake." Wenger refuses to blame @D_Ospina1 after @Arsenal's second straight #UCL defeat. http://t.co/cKqa818ie3

Arsenal will have to do things the long way around if they are to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League after suffering a surprising loss at home to Olympiakos.
David Ospina’s pat-a-cake fumbling of a corner gifted the Greeks a crucial goal, while Arsenal’s defending after initially pulling level at 2-2 left much to be desired.
Predictably, after the game, much of the noise around Arsenal’s inept display was based on Arsene Wenger’s decision to leave Petr Cech on the bench in favour of David Ospina.
In his post-match interview, Wenger, as you would expect, refused to blame his keeper, insisting that these things can happen, citing Cech’s gaffe on his debut.
A message that is unlikely to appease the outraged brigade at the Emirates.
