Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood could breath a sigh of relief last night after Villa secured a 1-0 derby win over Birmingham City in the Captial One Cup, thanks to the head of Rudy Gestede.
Sherwood, under pressure having already lost one derby against WBA in the league at the weekend, got a much needed, moral boosting win after Rudy Gestede powered home a trademark header in the second half.
