During UEFA’s Champions League draw ceremony in Monaco yesterday, which seemed to last about a 1000 times longer than it ever needed to, some of the players were pulled aside for a Q & A in between watching montages of themselves on the big screen.
Luis Suarez was one of the ones unfortunate enough to be collared, and was promptly asked to identify who his favourite player in the Premier League is currently.
Suarez, picked out former Liverpool team mate Coutinho. While that selection comes with a biased tint to it of course, Coutinho has been a very easy on the eye during the opening games of the season.
Who knows, perhaps if Coutinho’s stock keeps rising he might end up picking out Suarez with magical passes at Barcelona by this time next year.
