But, the response here from Chile’s Gonzalo Jara after getting a little tickle from Cavani makes you question the reason you ever watch football in the first place. What a fucking embarrassment.
The shameful incident happened during Uruguay’s 1-0 loss to Chile during an expectedly feisty encounter in the Copa America. Cavani, who was already on a yellow delivered the knock out punch that sent Jara tumbling to the canvas in the 62nd minute.
What the referee missed though was Jara appearing to stick his finger up Canvani’s backside, which was probably what provoked the Uruguayan in the first place.
