This is gold. It’s always amusing when someone falls for an article on the satirical news site The Onion. Especially when that someone happens to be an arrested former FIFA wonk and is using the site to make a rather misguided point.
The Onion can now add Jack Warner to their scalps. On Wednesday, The Onion posted the article “FIFA Frantically Announces 2015 Summer World Cup In United States” and it’s well worth a read. Jack Warner happened upon the article and uses to suggest some kind of elaborate conspiracy the US has going on against FIFA. You can watch Warner making an idiot of himself in the video above.
