If it means Gabby Agbonlahor is going to give interviews like one the below, then we can only hope that he starts scoring goals on a weekly basis, instead of his current, yearly rate.
Speaking after Aston Villa had beaten follow relegation battlers Norwich 2-0, to pick up just their 3rd Premier League win from 25 games, goal scorer Agbonlahor proved that footballers are capable of telling us exactly what they think during post match interviews.
Asked about speculation regarding his future at the club, Agbonlahor, no doubt egged on by his minder Joleen Lescott, said: “Ya know, the papers like to chat a load of shit really.”
