Superior finishing was this difference last night as Leicester took another tantalising step closer to what would have to be one of the greatest Premier League titles.
For all Liverpool’s huff and puff, they couldn’t find a way past Leicester’s solid rear guard and were instead undone by a magical strike when Riyad Mahrez and that man Jamie Vardy combined to truly devastating effect.
Vardy’s outrageous strike, obviously goes down as a goal of the season contender. And perhaps, purely in terms of importance, it shades my previous favourites so far from Bournemouth’s Matt Richie and Spurs’ Dele Alli.
