Steven Caulker’s had quite an eventful time of it since he made a surprise loan move to Liverpool from QPR.
On more than one occasion since joining the club, Caulker has been thrusted into the unfamiliar position of a makeshift centre forward as Liverpool have chased games. And, making his first start today playing against West Ham in his proper position of centre half, Caulker was in the thick of the action once again, this time getting away with what looked like a double hand ball in the box.
Luckily for Caulker, the ref Martin Atkinson failed to spot the handball(s) and Liverpool now have the joy of adding to their already busy fixture list in the shape of an FA Cup replay at the Boleyn Ground, after the game ended 0-0 at Anfield.
