Gary Neville’s transition from the studio to the Valancia touchline isn’t going quite as smoothly as the former Manchester United captain might have hoped.
Having overseen 7 La Liga games with Los Che, Neville is still looking for his first league win. During their last game against Deportivo in which they drew 1-1, the stress was clearing getting to Neville as you can see from the touchline footage below.
During the video you can see Neville’s Spanish still needs some work. Though some Spanish is used, most of the instructions are being barked out in English such as these pearls of wisdom: “F*cking be ready!” Referring to Ruben Vezo taking his sweet time to get ready to come on as a sub. Or “Pass the f*cking ball” and my personal favourite “F*ck off!!”
