Hmmm not sure which is worse, my awkward sounding pun used in the headline, or the video that inspired it above.
The clip is taken from an exhibition match featuring an Australian XI vs Liverpool legends. Before the action kicks off, Australian legend Craig Foster gives his 8-year-old mascot a pat on the chest which predictably caused a large shit storm on twitter as people rushed to pass judgement.
Afterwards Foster took to twitter to address the incident:
Shame my 16 yo girl and 18yo son couldn't be there as well. I certainly would have hugged them very close too. Special for a father

Presumably his teenage kids didn’t see it as all that much of a “shame” having missed out on having their chests patted down by their dad on public television.
