Jurgen Klopp had plenty of reasons to not be his cuddling and smiling self following Liverpool’s first game of the new year on Saturday afternoon. For the first time since 1963-64 season, West Ham completed a league home and away double over Liverpool. And they did it at a canter having comfortably beaten Liverpool 2-0 at Upton Park.
Speaking after the game, a visibly angry Klopp lamented his sides performance who for all their possession registered just one shot on target all game.
