If you were a local to Osaka last night and was looking for a quite evening stroll down by the canal, you would have likely been left in a state of dazed confusion at the site of River Plate fans completely taking over the place.
River Plate are over in Japan competing in the Club World Cup, and from the scenes below it looks like they’ve brought a fan or two with them from Argentina.
River went on to beat Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima 1-0 and progress to the final where they face Barcelona, if the Catalan’s come somehow navigate past Chinese side Guangzhou.
