This has to go down as one of the most unfortunate goals in recent memory. Thurrock FC’s Kamarl Duncan, playing against Romford in the Isthmian League, made the ill-advised decision to go long, launching the ball high into a relentless gale that diverted the ball from once it came and over the head of his own hapless keeper.
Fortunately for Duncan, the game finished 1-1.
