Angel Di Mari’s good form for PSG continued on the weekend during PSG’s 4-1 win over Nantes.
Di Maria scored PSG’s third goal, latching on to a ball over the top before superbly lifting it over the on rushing Nantes keeper.
Zlantan Ibrahimovic got his name on the score sheet during the same game, but his goal was overshadowed after he throttled an opposition player!

Toronto’s Sebastian Giovinco with an audacious outside of the boot finish from tight angle
Did he mean this?
Sebastian Giovinco produced an outrageous effort for Toronto FC during their 3-2 win over Chicago Fire on Saturday in the MLS.
It was likely a cross from Sebastian Giovinco, and the goal was actually awarded to Jonathan Osorio, but you wouldn’t begrudge the pint sized Italian striker for taking credit for it. -
Zlatan Ibrahimovic puts Nantes defender in a ‘friendly’ choke hold

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was in a particularly cuddly mood during PSG’s 4-1 win over Nantes on Saturday in Ligue 1.
Ibrahimovic cancelled out Bammou’s opener at the start of the second half for PSG before teammates; Cavani, Di Maria and Aurier sealed the win.
Along with his goal, the PSG striker also found time to give Nantes defender Wilfried Moimbe an affectionate little throttling. Though it’s hard to tell exactly how tight the grip around Moimbe’s neck is from the footage above, unsurprisingly the defender didn’t take to kindly to Ibrahimovic’s overtures. -

Either players in the Turkish league are lacking a bit of pace in their legs or Lazar Markovic really is ridiculously quick.
During Fenerbahce’s 3-2 loss to Besiktas on Sunday, the Liverpool loanee tore through the middle of the park leaving several players in his wake, before making a square ball into the box that a team mate was a whisker away from applying a finishing touch.
Unfortunately for Markovic, his blistering run was to be his only highlight of the game after he was forced off in the 38th minute with an injury. -
Didier Drogba banging a free kick into the top corner for Montreal
Didier Drogba is proving to be simply too good for MLS defences, having already scored 7 goals in the league for Montreal in just 6 games.
Drogba terrorised DC United on Saturday, scoring a brace as Montreal won 2-0. Drogba’s first goal was a cracking free kick from a good 30 yards out that sailed into the top corner. -
Mario Balotelli pulls off cheeky rabona pass for AC Milan vs Genoa
Having scored a fine free kick earlier in the week, Liverpool loanee Mario Balotelli looks like he might be getting a bit of his old swagger back.
Milan lost their Serie A match against Genoa 1-0, but striker Balotelli produced an inventive pass for team mate Luiz Adriano who could only drill his shot straight at the keeper.
Perhaps getting a boot up the backside from Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is doing the Italian some good. -
Non league keeper scores injury time overhead kick equaliser v Worcester City in FA Cup
The magic of the FA Cup and all that!!
With his team a goal down deep into injury time, non league Holbeach United keeper Ricky Drury ambles up into Worcester City’s penalty box for a free kick in a last ditch attempt to rescue their FA Cup tie.
As the free kick sales into the box, Drury finds a pocket of space and executes a stunning overhead kick to make it 1-1.
Thanks to Drury’s heroics, Holbeach United earn themselves a replay on Tuesday evening. -
Fan footage of Neil Lennon tearing up the touch line after Bolton’s injury time equaliser
Bolton rescued a point against top of the table Brighton after Gary Madine powered home a superb header 4 minutes into injury time.
Over joyed with the late goal, a relieved Bolton manager Neil Lennon raced out of his technical area and celebrated along the touchline.
Every point is crucial for the Northern Irishmen as his side sit just outside of the relegation zone, with only one win from their opening 9 games. -
