“He’ll have to hit a women in every game!” Martinez on Lukaku’s finishing
After his sides successful 3-0 away win at Southampton, Everton boss Roberto Martinez was asked about his striker Romelu Lukaku who had scored two goals in the game, but had inadvertently smacked a women in the stands with a ball during the warm up. Lukaku, had then graciously made his way into the stands to apologise to the unfortunate recipient of his way-ward strike by giving her a hug.
Upon hearing this, Martinez made a rather distasteful ‘joke’ that “maybe Lukaku will have to hit a women in every game”. Warning women that he’ll “make sure that happens in the finishing routine”.
Not your best moment there Bobby.

Robin van Persie meets the little boy that cried when he left Man United
It’s been a pretty heart warming day in the world of football for a change. First we had Romelu Lukaku climbing the stands to hug a Southampton fan he’d accidentally hit in the warm-up and here we have Robin van Persie making us all gush with this lovely little gesture.
If you missed it a video of a boy crying after his hero van Persie moved to Fenerbahce was doing the rounds a while ago.
Well, to cheer up the heart broken Man United fan, he got to meet van Persie over in Istanbul and also picked a couple of Fenerbahce shirts.
