Despite not making a Real Madrid fans’ ideal starting XI today, Gareth Bale seems to be enjoying himself in the Spanish Capital.
Taking time out from dizzy penalty challenges, Bale posted the above video showing off just how gruelling pre-season must be for the Welshmen.
Captioned “Just getting some last minute practice in before La Liga kicks off!” Bale takes the plunge into a swimming pool while cleanly connecting with a volley.
We’ll find out soon enough just how much this ‘last minute’ practicing has paid off.

With the transfer window soon to slam shut, Manchester United are eager to add some depth to their striker options.
Having missed out on Pedro after the former Barcelona forward was plucked from their clutches by Chelsea, United are rumoured to have turned their attentions to Southampton’s Saido Mane.
However, upon being confronted by a young Southampton fan pleading for him to stay, the Senegalese forward did the only thing he could and gave an unconvincing assurance that he would remain at Southampton.
