He might be on a 10 game goal draught, but the sight of seeing Wayne Rooney waltz up next to him still had this Swansea mascot’s jaw dropping.
The lovely reaction from the mascot was captured just before Swansea took on Manchester United at the liberty stadium on Sunday. Swansea came from a goal behind to win 2-1 after goals from Gomis and Ayew. A result, in it’s self that would have been quite jaw dropping a couple of seasons back, but this was now the third time in a row that the Swans had beaten United.
Speaking after the game Louis van Gaal was unsurprisingly not in the best of moods and got a little bit arsy with a journalist, abruptly ended the interview which you can watch here.

Luis Suarez pretends to bite a chunk out of Messi backstage at Champions League draw
Footage has emerged from last weeks Champions League draw of Leo Messi merrily making his way backstage before he is collared by teammate Luis Suarez. With Messi now captive in a dark corridor and at the mercy of his predator, Luis Suarez proceeds to jokingly bite Messi before sending him on his way.
What’s not clear from the footage is whether Suarez is aware that he is on camera with it only being a matter of time before the footage is online, and if this is some kind of inside joke the Uruguayan plays on a regular basis that we’re not normally privy to.
