Craig Gordon might just be a good egg!
After Celtic’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Hearts on the weekend, the Celtic and Scotland keeper endulged a few fans by going in goal for a quick about outside Celtic Park.
As his makes shift goal was peppered with shots by the young eager fans, Gordon managed to keep some out but was unable to maintain a clean sheet after such heavy bombardment.
In between saving pot shots, Gordon also made time to sign some autographs. -

Brazilian ref pulls out a gun after being attacked by players
Referees getting physically abused is unfortunately nothing new of course, especially in South America. However, one ref in Brazil decided that he had had enough abuse during an amateur game and pulled out a gun when the players started getting a bit too lairy.
Globo reports that the ref was slapped and kicked after trying to send off a player. The referee Gabriel Murta, which according to the Mining Football Federation is military police officer then, went to the changing rooms to get some back up in the shape of his gun.
Fortunately, the irate ref was held back from letting off any rounds by his assistants. So, the next time you lay into a ref for some perceived injustice, be weary that he might come packing! -
Brondby fans create incredible gladiator like tifo for Copenhagen derby
Over the weekend Brondby raised the stakes in tifo making with a quite incredible display for the Copenhagen derby.
Last weekend we saw Porto fans’ tifo effort for their clash with Benfica which depicted a dragon with burning flares for eyes, but this gladiator themed tifo from Brondby fans has taken it up a notch or three.
Brondby fans recreated the coliseum ahead of their clash with FC Copenhagen, with the centre piece being a rather gruesome gladiator wielding the decapitated head of a lion.
The intimidating tifo and atmosphere paid off as Brondby secured a 1-0 win over their local rivals thanks to a goal from Martin Albrechtsen.
The Copenhagen Derby, also known as New Firm, has become renowned in the football world for having a fantastic atmosphere. The rivalry between Brøndby IF and F.C. Copenhagen is huge and has been an ever-present of Danish football since the early 1990’s. New Firms’ popularity is now so popular that the match regularly sells out, and fans come from across the world to witness it. If you are interested in attending the match then it’s worth checking copenhagen hotels and planning a trip over to Denmark to catch it.

Hatem Ben Arfa scores superb solo goal after beating 4 men
Former Newcastle man Hatem Ben Arfa scored a brace for Nice as they beat St Etienne 4-1 on the weekend in Ligue 1.
Ben Arfa’s first goal was a peach of a volley, but his second was even more impressive. Ben Arfa took on and beats four men before firing low beyond the keeper into the far bottom corner.
With 6 goals in Ligue 1, Ben Arfa is currently the leading scorer in the league.
