FIFA acting president nods off during his own press conference
The acting president of #FIFA Issa #Hayatou falls asleep at his own press conference hours after colleagues arrested pic.twitter.com/v8DvGYSGTE

FIFA press conference just aren’t what they used to be. Not so long ago, you had Sepp Blatter keeping things lively with a wildly inappropriate comment or by falling off of a stage. Good times.
However, with Sepp busy barricading the doors to an underground bunker somewhere in Zurich as the FBI circle, Issa Hayatou has stepped in as acting president but has fallen some way short of the lively antics we’d expect from FIFA’s top suit and has gone instead in a more subdued direction.During his own press conference this morning, when FIFA was announcing reforms following the scandals that have swallowed up footballs governing body, it all proved to be a bit too much for Hayatou as he decided to take 20 winks.
Perhaps he was tired after being woken up by the early morning raids at the Baur au Lac Hotel during which more high level FIFA officials were arrested.
It’s tiring work Hayatou.

Jurgen Klopp is clearly working his magic at Liverpool
He’s been quick to play down the hype and has insisted he doesn’t wave around a magic wand, but, as you can see, during Liverpool’s 6-1 thrashing of Southampton in the League Cup on Wednesday night, Jurgen Klopp is quite clearly a magician.Klopp’s nonchalant wave of the hand is presumably the tactics he’ll be hoping to deploy when Liverpool play Newcastle on the weekend.

Giacomo Bonaventura leaves keeper rooted with tasty free kick winner in extra time
He doesn’t even move.
The most satisfying free kick is one where the keeper makes absolutely no effort to try and save it. He knows that he is already fully beaten, and can do little more than watch in awe as the ball ripples the net.
Giacomo Bonaventura produced one such free kick sparing the Rossoneri’s blushes last night after grabbing a late winner in extra time vs Serie B side Crotone in the Coppa Italia 4th round.
With the game at 1-1 after 100 minutes of play Giacomo Bonaventura stepped and swept home a delicious free kick to send Milan into the next round.
Watch Bonaventura’s free kick below.

If we’re going to compare Luca Zidane to his father then his headbutt needs work
Zinedine Zidane’s son Luca was sent off on the weekend for reportedly headbutting an opponent during an under 19’s game against Atletico Madrid. The incident sparked obvious comparisons to his dads infamous effort against Italy, but if you were hoping to see a proper bone crunching ram like clash of foreheads then you’re going to be disappointed.
Luca Zidane’s effort is more a kissing of foreheads then anything else. I’m sure his dad is very disappointed.
You can watch the underwhelming forehead touching below.
