Unlikely hero Pirlo Joe Allen scored the winning penalty vs Stoke as Liverpool booked their place in the League Cup final last night, and the moment was almost too much excitement for the currently injured Martin Skrtel.
Fan footage, shown below captures the moment Allen scores his penalty and the resulting wild celebrations from Martin Skrtel who almost manages to put a hole in a wall.

Once again, Joe Allen turned out to be the hero for Liverpool, as they booked their place in the League Cup final following a penalty shoot out win over Stoke at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
Stoke had levelled up the tie on aggregate after Marko Arnautović scored the only goal of the second leg, albeit from an offside position.
Tomorrow Liverpool will find out who they will face in the final when Manchester City take on Everton in the second leg of the other semi-final.

Gary Neville’s transition from the studio to the Valancia touchline isn’t going quite as smoothly as the former Manchester United captain might have hoped.
Having overseen 7 La Liga games with Los Che, Neville is still looking for his first league win. During their last game against Deportivo in which they drew 1-1, the stress was clearing getting to Neville as you can see from the touchline footage below.
During the video you can see Neville’s Spanish still needs some work. Though some Spanish is used, most of the instructions are being barked out in English such as these pearls of wisdom: “F*cking be ready!” Referring to Ruben Vezo taking his sweet time to get ready to come on as a sub. Or “Pass the f*cking ball” and my personal favourite “F*ck off!!”

At some point, you’ve probably be treated to the often ridiculous trend of a relative or friend sending you pictures of their baby featuring in some bizarre photo shoot. Well, turns out Wesley Sneijder is not immune to this compulsion and might just have come up with the baby video to top all baby videos.
The Galatasaray play maker posted a video on Instagram with his adorable tot Xess Xava Sneijder placed inside the Champions League trophy, a competition Sneijder Snr. won during his days with Inter Milan.
Keen to apparently protect his son from the crazed paparazzi, Sneijder’s captions says: “One day you will hold this cup like I did.”
No pressure then Xess Xava, no pressure at all.

There have been plenty of incredible things happening over the weekend to get excited about; Liverpool’s ridiculous 5-4 win over Norwich, that Dele Alli goal to mention just a couple, but this footage from Athletico Madrid’s 0-0 draw with Sevilla is utterly marvellous.
Having seen his midfielder Vitolo earn a second yellow card forcing his side to play the remaining 30 minutes of the match down to 10 men, Sevilla manager Unai Emery was himself sent off for protesting the ref’s decision and was banished from the bench.
But that wasn’t going to stop Emery, oh no. No, Instead a sneaky Emery apparently found a passage from the players tunnel back to the bench, where, crouched down in a piss poor attempt of hide and seek, he continued to dish out his tactics as his side anxiously clung to a draw.

Danille De Rossi could well be in hot water – though, probably not given this is the Italian FA we are talking about – after having some less than charming words for Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.
De Rossi, the AS Roma midfielder who always looks like he’s teetering on the verge a full blown fit of uncontrollable rage, allegedly told Manzukic to “Shut up you gypsy sh*t!” after his side slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Juve following a lovely goal from Paulo Dybala.
In the clip below, De Rossi appears to be saying “Sta muto zingaro di merda” which translates to “Shut up you gypsy sh*t.”
Watch the video, and if your Italian lip reading is up to scratch then you should be able to decipher if De Rossi is being a racist arse.
