Just like old times as Ronaldinho lobs David Seamen

Memories of the 2002 World Cup came flooding back over the weekend when David Seamen was almost left embarrassed by the skills of Ronaldinho.

Playing during the Unicef charity match between Great Britain & Ireland vs Rest of the World, Ronaldinho spotted David Seamen off his line and tried an audacious lob. Fortunately for Seamen, this time round, the lob landed on the roof of the net and the former England keeper could afford a wry smile.

    Watch Ronaldinho’s effort below.

The poor big man just couldn’t sort his feet out quick enough.

Arsenal loanee Yaya Sanogo is doing everything within his powers to ensure his return ticket to the Emirates is ripped up after another howler from inside the dreaded 6 yard box.

Following up his miss during an Ajax reserve game a couple of months back, Sanogo is on course for a hat-trick of Barn d’Or contenders.

If you’re an Arsenal fan, best to probably skip this one. For everyone else, you can watch Sanogo’s shocker below.

Just to prove we can show some semblance of balance, in Sanogo’s defence he did actually go on to score later in the game which finished 1-1.

Hector Bellerin there, on Hector Bellerin’s sublime left foot finish vs Liverpool at the Emirates earlier in the season.

    Classic.

North London derby has bathroom sink thrown at it

    Emirates-toilet-Arsenal-Spurs
It might have pretty well behaved encounter on the pitch during the North London derby as Arsenal shared the spoils with Spurs 1-1, but it was more than made up for off it by some Spurs ‘fans’ unhappy with the bathroom fixtures provided in the Emirates. The reason for porcelain masacre? Allegedly, this was pay back for the signs torn down at White Hart Lane during the League Cup in September.

Jan ‘Vinnie’ Vertonghen putting one on his man early doors as he gets to know the kind of fire power he can expect to be handling from Giroud.

Having taken the lead through Harry Kane following some generous Arsenal defending, Spurs continued to press their opponents relentlessly in search of a second. However, with each chance that went missing for Spurs, you sensed that Arsenal would eventually make them pay. And so it would be, as Mesut Ozil proved he is so good at assists, that he pretty much gave Kieran Gibbs no option other than to score the equaliser.

Neymar is a bit good at football

Just look at his face. You don’t pull that kind of face immediately after scoring unless it was something special. If you have some how managed to miss Neymar’s incredible goal vs Villarreal what are you playing at? Watch it here. If you have seen it and what to see an even better goal, check out this beauty by Inaki Williams for Athletic Bilbao.

5-1, 5-0, 5-1, 4-0, 5-1. Those are the score lines from Bayern Munich last 5 home fixtures before they faced Stuttgart on the weekend who they then went and stuffed 4 goals past in a blistering opening 45 minutes. And if these raw figures don’t have you petrified then watch Bayern launching a frightening six man counter at break-neck speed.

The team, partly owned by five members of Manchester United’s Class of ’92, who sit 59 places & three leagues below Notts County secured a historic 2-0 at Moor Lane thanks to goals from Danny Webber and Richie Allen.

Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt suitably losing their shit as the club they own score their second vs Notts County.

To mark the historic feat, Salford City players celebrate by singing a bit of a Rick Astley’s Never gonna give you (c)up.

Neymar ‘Gazza’ Junior scores wonder goal vs Villarreal

    What. A. Goal.

Neymer produced a moment of brilliance for Barcelona during their win over Villarreal on Sunday.

With his side 2-0 up, Neymar flicked a pass from Luis Suarez over a Villarreal defenders head before lashing home a volley.

Which goal do you prefer? Neymar’s or Paul Gascoigne’s from Euro ’96?

Sit back, get comfortable and let 2 and a half minutes of Robert Lewandowski, Thiago Alcântara and Douglas Costa nonchalantly bringing a football under their spell wash over you.

These frankly ridiculous skills were caught during Bayern Munich training and were uploaded to their youtube account yesterday.

Look out for Lewandowski proving he has better dancing skills than you or I, even when he is balancing a ball on his head.

“If it was about money I’d go to Qatar” Cristiano Ronaldo on joining Man City

With the release of his upcoming film on Monday, Cristiano Ronaldo has been doing the rounds to promote his vanity project.

When asked about the possibility of joining Man City in the future during a interview with the BBC, Ronaldo insisted it was about passion and not money now that he is 30 and has amassed a fortune.

Presuambly, now that he is 30 and it’s not about the money we can expect to see an end to this kind of absurdity?
