It’s barely 2016 and Lionel Messi has already dished out his first cheeky nutmeg of the year. Luis Suarez is the victim, as Messi pulls off the nutmeg during Barcelona training.

Real Madrid throw their support behind Rafa Benitez by roundly booing him
Presumably walloping your previous opponents 10-2, comfortably getting through to the knock out stages of the Champions League and currently sitting 3rd in La Liga with a chance to go top, simply isn’t enough for Real Madrid fans.Ahead of their clash with Real Sociedad, Real Madrid fans showed their support for their manager Rafa Benitez by booing him as his name was announced over the PA system.
Almost seems cruel to announce his name, given the frosty reception he is likely to receive.

Louis van Gaal delivers boxing day knock out with frightening death stare
Following Manchester United’s 2-0 loss at Stoke, Louis van Gaal’s side has now gone seven consecutive games without a win, their worst run of form since 1990.Speaking after the game van Gaal accused his side of not “daring to play football” before delivering an almighty death stare at the end of his interview. Someone should probably check on the health of the reporter as that stare could well have been fatal.
Watch van Gaal dishing out the evil eye in the video below.

Cristiano Ronaldo reveals what animal print duvet he sleeps in with MTV Cribs-like tour of his house
Of course Cristiano Ronaldo sleeps in an animal print duvet. For those of you that didn’t get enough of Cristiano Ronaldo speaking in the third person and showing off his lavish lifestyle in his recent film, fear not for he has let the cameras into his house again so that we can see exactly how a millionaire footballer furnishes his house. Ronaldo is no stranger to cameras; it comes with the territory of having the most followers on instagram.
Taking us around his plush pad, Ronaldo details such exciting things as where he sits and eats his dinner and where he watches TV. The big reveal though is obviously the boudoir, where Ronaldo gets his shut-eye wrapped in no other than a leopard patterned duvet that presumably matches his undies.
Unfortunately, Ronaldo does not confirm whether the bed rotates Austin Powers style. So we are just going to presume that it does.
Ronaldo posted sneak previews of the tour, including the part with the interesting bed, on his instagram story before the program aired on TV. If you missed it then perhaps you would like this app that allows you to save instagram stories so you can watch them for longer than 24 hours. But for now, you can still catch it on the episode on MTV Cribs.

It’s been emotional – Leicester fan sobs through a phone in as Foxes go top
Leicester City will be top of the Premier League for Christmas following their 3-2 victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The astonishing feat made all the more remarkable having been bottom of the table this time last year – the first time any Premier League has managed such a turn around.
And, for one Leicester City fan who called into BBC Radio 5 live, it was all too much to take. Speaking to Robbie Savaged, the fan was reduced to tears as he spoke about his table topping Foxes. He just about manages to keep it together, and challenges Savage to say that Leicester can not now win the League.
Listen to the weeping phone in below.

Three rats – A collection of the god awful Chelsea banners on display against Sunderland
‘Hazzard’
Following the sacking of Jose Mourinho on Thursday it wasn’t a massive to surprise to see Chelsea fans had come to Stamford Bridge armed with hastily put together banners supporting their former boss, and pointedly laying into some of the players.
Below are just some of the banners that are sure to be comforting Jose Mourinho in his hour of need.
Will he still be your special one when he takes over at Old Trafford?
If in doubt go with guilt and shaming.
A lot going on with this one. Just look at that cropping work. Marvellous!
Nothing suggest that this was whipped together last minute inside the stadium.
It’s getting biblical.
If those banners didn’t push home Chelsea fans’ discontent with their team, this chant heard after Pedro scored certainly did.
