Antonio Conte definitely has a better touch than David Luiz

How’s your touch Conte? About as smooth and immaculate as the suit he wears on the Chelsea touchline judging by the below footage.

Chelsea cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win over reigning Champions Leicester in the early Premier League kick off on Saturday. So comfortable in fact, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was happy to indulge in a bit of show boating when he showed a sublime touch to control a wayward pass.

Not to be outdone by his boss, David Luiz showed off his magical touch which resulted in a face plant.

Never change David Luiz, never change.

Charlton’s League one game against Coventry got off to an unusual start after thousands of plastic pigs were thrown onto the pitch interrupting play on saturday afternoon.

Both sets of fans had united in protesting the ownership of their clubs with a march before the game. This was then followed up by the flying pigs shortly after kick off with fans chanting “We want Roland out” referring to owner Roland Duchâtelet.

Charlton’s protest against owner Duchâtelet has been going of for some time now and this is not the first time they have expressed their anger and frustrations. Back in April fans protested by throwing hundreds of beach balls onto the pitch.

When will Duchâtelet learn not to be a complete dick and get on his bike? Probably when pigs fly.

Watch footage of the flying pigs protest below.

Enner Valencia chased off pitch by Police over alleged unpaid child support

Normally accustomed to giving defenders the slip, on-loan Everton striker Enner Valencia was instead evading the clutches of the Police on Thursday during a World Cup Qualifier for Ecuador over alleged unpaid child support payments.

In a truly slapstick incident that even Benny Hill would be proud of, Valencia who was substituted in the 81st minute and left the action via a golf buggy after claiming of sickness, was then chased half heartedly by Police as he tried to make a get away.

According to the newspaper El Universo, Valencia is alleged to owe his former wife $17,000 in alimony. An accusation which if proven to be true, probably explains why Valencia was left reaching for the oxygen mask as he fled the scene.

EPLpod: Héctor Bellerín would look great over at FC Barcelona!

With it being an international break, Mike and Paul from EPLpod indulge in a bit of transfer chit chat during this weeks pod.

Will Héctor Bellerín soon be suiting up for Barcelona? Should Swansea have passed over the opportunity to appoint Ryan Giggs as their new manager? And just how stupid is Joey Barton and his gambling antics?

Find out the answer to these questions and more in the latest episode of EPLpod below.

Unbeaten Spurs hand Pep his first taste of defeat

After a weeks absence ‘enteraining’ his cousin, Paul is welcomed back into the EPLpod studio where he joins Mike and Ben as they reflect on the weekends action in the Premier League.

£3m simply not enough for greedy Big Sam

With Paul suspiciously absent during the same week Big Sam gets the axe, myself and Mike man the pod on a scandalous week for English football.

Was the FA right to sever ties with Big Sam after just 67 days? Was all this just an elaborate plot designed by Big Sam to become the first England Manager to go an entire reign undefeated?

Find out as we take in the big news from Big Sam as well as an absolute cracker of a game at Park Head where Celtic become the first team to finally takes some points of greedy Pep Guardiola after a 3-3 draw.

Listen to the latest episode of EPLpod below. Apologies that this episode had to be cut short as Mike had a very important meeting closing a lucrative deal with “business” men claiming to be from the far east.

EPLpod: Awww, isn’t it cute how Wenger finally managed to beat Chelsea?

With Paul getting up to god knows what deep in the woods, I join Mike in the EPLpod studio as we take in the weekends Premier League action.

Arsene Wenger celebrated 20 years at Arsenal by finally getting a win over Chelsea. Gooners will be hoping they don’t have to wait for another Wenger milestone before they manage the feat again. Manchester United, freed from the shackles that is Wayne Rooney look like a team renewed as they blitz Champions Leicester with 4 first half goals. Liverpool continue racking up the goals after thrashing Hull 5-1 and just where has it all gone wrong for Slaven Bilic and West Ham?

EPLpod: Time for Yaya Touré to pack his bags

Yaya Toure is likely booking flights to China as his agent and Pep Guardiola bicker like kids, Man United survive a bit of a wobble against mighty Northampton Town, and Arsenal score four goals for the 2nd game running and there was nothing former Gunner Nicklas Bendtner could do about it.
