Cavani booked for sniper celebration – gets 2nd booking for complaining!
During PSG’s 3-1 win at Lens this evening, Edinson Cavani Celebrated his penalty conversion by miming shooting a gun, as seen in the vine above.
The referee took objection to Cavani’s fire arms inspired celebration and duly booked the forward. He wasn’t done there though, oh no. Cavani perplexed by the ref’s decision placed a pretty innocuous hand on the referee, and this was it, a second yellow was coming followed by a red.
All very ridiculous indeed. Yes, you could argue that Cavani’s celebration might be a bit gratuitous perhaps, but the second booking, as seen below is quite the dramatic over reaction.

Collapsed bench leads to brilliant team photo for Derry City
A proud moment for Derry City who were in the midst of getting ready for their FAI Cup Final team photo when the bench collapsed under the players weight.
PS – No Derry City players were hurt in the making of this team photo. Though the one on the bottom left is a slight cause for concern.
